ETB is a Travelex Agent. As such Travellers Cheques are sold by Equitorial Trust Bank at 144, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi.
Traveller’s Cheques were created to assist travellers, whether on vacation or business trips. They are recognised and accepted by banks, hotels and most commercial outlets around the world.
They are available in most major world currencies and in a variety of denominations, catering to individual client requirements.
The following currencies are available as Travelex traveller’s Cheques from selected ETB branches:
- US dollars
- UK pounds sterling
- Euros
Traveller’s Cheques are only issued to travellers who are in possession of a valid passport and where applicable, a passenger ticket in their name, for a journey commencing from and back to Nigeria.
For business travellers allowance, you will need a board resolution and a photocopy of your certifcate of incorporation.
- Customer needs not be an ETB account holder
- Transactions are concluded within 10 minutes
- Travellers Cheques are available in Pound Sterling, US Dollar and EURO.
